Job Summary :
The Associate – SEZ & Compliance will assist in ensuring compliance with Special Economic Zone (SEZ) rules, Vendor & Third-Party compliance, and other statutory requirements applicable to the unit. The role involves supporting documentation, coordination with SEZ authorities, external agencies, and internal stakeholders to maintain smooth compliance operations.
Key Responsibilities :
SEZ Compliance
- Assist in adherence to SEZ Act, 2005 and SEZ Rules, 2006 for day-to-day operations.
- Support SEZ online portal activities (Softex Forms, Bond-cum-Legal Undertaking, basic filings).
- Handle documentation for material movements (inward, outward, subcontracting, exports, imports).
- Prepare and submit periodic SEZ reports under supervision.
- Liaise with SEZ office and Customs for approvals and routine permissions.
Vendor & Third-Party Compliance
Track and verify vendor compliance with PF, ESI, GST, SEZ norms, and labour obligations.Maintain compliance records for third-party service providers (security, housekeeping, canteen, contractors).Assist in vendor compliance checks and documentation.Liaison & Audit Support
Assist in coordination with government officials (SEZ, Customs, Labour).Support internal and external auditors during compliance checks.Maintain audit-ready compliance records.Qualifications & Skills
Graduate / Postgraduate in Commerce, Law, Business Administration, or related field.3–6 years of experience in SEZ and Vendor compliance (experience in manufacturing / aerospace / engineering SEZ unit preferred).Working knowledge of SEZ Rules, GST exemptions, Customs Act.Proficiency in MS Office; exposure to SEZ Online portal preferred.Strong documentation and coordination skills.Good communication and ability to liaise with authorities, vendors, and internal teams.Ability to manage multiple compliance tasks under timelines.Requirements
