Working days- 5 days (9 : 30am- 5 : 30 pm)
About role
The Field Service Engineer performs customer support activities including the installation, Testing and commissioning, modification and repair of complex equipment and systems.
These products are primarily electronic systems used in the electrical substation, GIS, electric utility industry.
They also might involve in technical presentations & on hand training related to products.
Interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Experience :
Should have a min of 4 years of experience in Electrical Substations
- Must have worked on Transformer / Switchgears / GIS / Motors / Generator / Circuit Breakers etc.)
- Must have experience on Installation, Testing ,troubleshooting and commissioning of electrical Equipments in Substations / GIS.
- Must have experience in using the electrical testing instruments and kits and performing testing on sites.
- Must have ability to read and understand electrical Drawings / GA / schematic.
- Must have experience on testing of Transformer / circuit breakers / motors / generators / switchgear / cables etc.
Background : -
Electrical Industry Experience : MV / HV Substations / GIS / Oil & Gas / Plants / Refineries etc.
Qualification :
Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Degree)
Job roles & Responsibilities :
Global and domestic travel required – up to 80%Repair and install equipment utilizing knowledge of electronics and software functionality and using standard test instruments and hand tools.Install and maintain technical equipment in customer sites.diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures and perform system evaluation through engineering knowledgePresent and train others on maintenance and functionality of equipment.Provide direct customer support onsite as well as remotely.Train other field engineers and customers in the solutionsTravel to the site to collect VOC and operation process of the customersManage time effectively and work under pressure and deadlines.Installs and optimizes hardware / software / network products and configurations at customer sites.Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems, Performs maintenance and repairssEnsures customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations, which may impact product performance.Proactively responds to potential equipment issues to prevent unplanned interruption of customers' business.Deliver fully integrated solutions, which may include peripherals, communications, operating systems and applications software.Provide customer experience and technical feedback for product / service improvements.Skills Required
