Job Description
As an OpenStack administrator, you will be responsible for administration, configuration, and deployment of OpenStack infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and reliable solutions.
This role requires a deep understanding of OpenStack components, networking, storage, and virtualization technologies. Your expertise in containerization, Kubernetes, and Ceph storage setup will help design, deploy, and maintain cloud-native solutions.
Key responsibilities include deploying, configuring, and managing OpenStack environments using Kolla-Ansible and TripleO. Additionally, you will design, deploy, and maintain Ceph storage clusters, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
Furthermore, you will manage block storage (Cinder), file storage (Manila), and object storage (such as Ceph RGW / S3, Swift, or equivalent). You will also maintain and optimize OpenStack control plane and compute resources for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Effective management of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools is essential. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-native solutions is crucial. Participation in CI / CD pipelines for infrastructure changes and application deployments is also necessary.
Finally, maintaining comprehensive documentation for infrastructure designs, configurations, and operational procedures is vital.
