Learning and Development Manager

Job descriptionConduct competency mapping for all shop floor roles to identify skill gaps and development needs. Develop and maintain competency frameworks aligned with organizational goals. Use competency mapping data to inform training program development. Plan and execute training programs for internal stakeholders, including shop floor supervisors and managers. Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance internal capabilities. Coordinate with department heads to identify specific training needs and tailor programs accordingly. Design and implement behavioral training programs to improve soft skills and workplace culture. Develop modules focused on communication, teamwork, leadership, and conflict resolution. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavioral training programs. Create engaging and effective training content, including e-learning manuals and job aids. Ensure all training content is up-to-date and aligns with current industry standards and practices. Utilize multimedia tools and platforms to enhance learning experiences. A master s degree in human resource management is mandatory. A bachelor s degree can be in any discipline. 8-12 years of experience in l earning and d evelopment, preferably 2 years within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong understanding of skill matrix development and competency mapping. Knowledge of tools such as LEAN, Six Sigma, ISO, TPM etc. will be preferable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders. Certification in Training and Development.
