Duties and responsibilities : -
- Assessing the Policy Admin System, Claim, GL and MIS systems in line with business requirements to identify the GAPs for IFRS solution
- Work with Functional teams (Actuary & Finance) for identification, definition of Critical Data Elements for Reserving and IFRS solution.
- Scoping of requirements from Actuarial, Finance, Underwriting, Claim, Products & IFRS consultants for convert into a detailed business requirement document.
- Identifying existing data gaps for IFRS solution. Co-ordinating between the business users, Technology teams, IFRS Solution Provider and Business Transaction system OEM for regular discussion to ensure the alignment of requirement and time resolution for the queries.
- Validate accuracy, completeness and integrity of data being used since inception. Scope historic data migration for transition date.
- Document all data flows of required systems including its automation and reconciliation and include the same in the system integration testing during UAT cycles.
- Design end-to-end test scenarios for IFRS solution with support of business users and support in its conclusion with UAT sign off from users.
- Handholding stakeholders during the development phase by ensuring timely clarity on the business requirement document.
- Handling projects related to IT developments / automation.
- Providing ongoing production support.
Specialized skills, competencies, qualification, and experience : -
Experience : Min 10 years of working experience in the General Insurance Domain. Prior experience of working on IFRS projects would be an added advantage.
Key Skills :
Working knowledge on basic Database Ingress & Hygiene operationsBasic understanding of ETL operationsUnderstanding of GL / ERP systemsUnderstanding of Project Tasks and its management.
