Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced CNC Engineer Trainer with 10+ years of expertise in CNC machining, precision engineering, and manufacturing within the medical devices industry . The trainer will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs to upskill engineers, technicians, and operators in CNC programming, tooling, process optimization, and regulatory compliance. The role requires a strong blend of hands-on technical expertise and the ability to mentor and guide professionals in achieving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design & Deliver Training : Create and conduct training modules on CNC machining, programming (Fanuc / Siemens / Heidenhain), tooling, and CAD / CAM software applications.
- Medical Devices Focus : Train professionals on machining requirements, tolerances, and finishing standards specific to medical devices (implants, surgical instruments, components).
- Compliance & Standards : Instruct on ISO 13485, FDA, and GMP requirements for CNC manufacturing in the medical devices sector.
- Process Optimization : Train teams on reducing cycle time, improving productivity, and ensuring repeatability with precision.
- Hands-On Coaching : Guide operators and engineers on CNC setup, tool selection, material handling (titanium, stainless steel, PEEK, etc.), and troubleshooting.
- Curriculum Development : Develop training materials, SOPs, case studies, and hands-on practice sessions tailored to industry standards.
- Technology Upgradation : Provide training on advanced CNC technologies such as 5-axis machining, micro-machining, and automation.
- Career Enablement : Mentor trainees for industry readiness, job interviews, and continuous professional growth.
Key Requirements :
Experience : 10+ years of proven experience as a CNC Engineer in the medical devices / precision engineering industry .Expertise : Strong hands-on knowledge of CNC programming, multi-axis machining, and CAD / CAM software (Mastercam, NX, SolidCAM, etc.).Industry Knowledge : Deep understanding of medical device machining standards, quality control, and regulatory requirements .Training Skills : Prior experience in technical training, mentoring, or knowledge transfer .Soft Skills : Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Education : Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).Preferred Skills :
Knowledge of automation and robotics integration with CNC machines.Familiarity with validation, documentation, and audit readiness in medical manufacturing.Exposure to additive manufacturing (3D printing) in medical applications.
