We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Sales to lead our clients sales strategy and execution across the Upper North region of India. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in the beverage / FMCG sector, with strong expertise in relationship management, distributor handling, and data-driven decision making. This role demands a leader who can drive growth, expand market share, and build long-term partnerships in one of our most critical markets.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute the sales strategy for North India to achieve revenue and market share targets.
- Build, manage, and nurture strong relationships with key distributors, retailers, modern trade, and institutional partners.
- Leverage data analytics to track performance, identify growth opportunities, and optimize sales effectiveness.
- Lead and mentor a team of sales managers and executives across multiple states.
- Drive execution of trade marketing and promotional initiatives to enhance brand visibility.
- Monitor competitor activities, market dynamics, and customer insights to adapt strategies.
- Ensure strong distributor ROI, supply chain efficiency, and adherence to company standards.
- Work closely with marketing, finance, and supply chain teams for integrated business planning
Requirements :
12–18 years of proven sales leadership experience in beverages or FMCG .Strong network and on-ground understanding of the Upper North India market (Delhi NCR, Punjab, Haryana, UP, Uttarakhand, etc.).Demonstrated expertise in relationship management, channel management, and distributor development.High proficiency in data analytics and ability to translate insights into actionable sales strategies.Strong leadership skills with experience in managing large and geographically spread teams.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Show more
