Key responsibilities
- Team leadership : Recruit, onboard, coach, mentor, and manage BDEs; run one-on-ones and team meetings; set clear performance goals.
- Performance management : Monitor KPIs and pipelines, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance and ethical standards.
- Strategy and planning : Create and execute territory strategies, identify and penetrate new markets, and refine sales processes with senior management.
- Sales support : Assist BDEs with presentations, negotiations, and deal closures, and act as escalation for complex client issues.
- Account management : Manage a small portfolio of key accounts or strategic partnerships when required.
- Reporting and CRM : Produce regular performance and forecast reports and ensure timely, accurate CRM updates.
Required qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.Experience : Minimum 8 years in business development or sales with at least 3 years in a managerial role; experience in the education sector preferred.Skills : Proven track record of meeting / exceeding targets; strong leadership, communication, presentation, and analytical skills; proficient with CRM systems such as Salesforce.Other : Willingness to travel extensively; knowledge of the territory or geography is a plus.Job Type : Full-time
