Roles & Responsibilities :
- Lead the HR sub department comprising of HRBP & HR operation team for plant, aligning HR strategy with business goals and manufacturing priorities.
- Act as a key advisor to the VP-HR, plant leadership on workforce strategy, organizational design, and people development.
- Translate corporate HR policies into plant-level execution with contextual customization.
- Oversee HRBP operations for all categories of employees : FTEs, FTCs, shopfloor, and contract workforce.
- Ensure seamless execution of HR processes including onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and exits.
- Drive standardization, digitization, and continuous improvement in HR operations.
- Lead and develop a high-performing HR team which include HRBPs & HR Operation teams members.
- Set clear goals, monitor performance, and build HR capability through coaching and mentoring.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and accountable HR culture.
- Support the IR team in maintaining harmonious labor relations and resolving grievances.
- Attend / Lead negotiations, statutory forums, and welfare committee meetings as required.
- Champion employee engagement initiatives across all workforce segments.
- Promote inclusive practices and DEI principles in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Monitor engagement metrics and lead interventions to enhance employee morale and retention.
- Drive the performance management cycle, ensuring fairness, transparency, and alignment with business goals.
- Lead talent reviews, succession planning, and career development initiatives.
- Identify and nurture high-potential talent across departments.
- Ensure full compliance with labor laws, EHS norms, and internal HR policies.
- Lead HR audits, statutory inspections, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and report key HR metrics to VP-HR and plant leadership.
- Use data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and workforce planning.
- Maintain dashboards and MIS for headcount, attrition, productivity, and engagement.
- Drive out-of-the-box, innovative people initiatives to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.
- Lead change management efforts during plant expansion, technology upgrades, or organizational restructuring.
- Pilot new HR models, digital tools, and agile practices in collaboration with corporate HR.
- Collaborate with plant leadership, operations, EHS, finance, and CSR teams for integrated HR delivery.
- Liaise with corporate HR functions (TA, C&B, L&D, DEI) to ensure alignment and support.
- Represent the plant HR function in corporate forums and strategic reviews.
Qualification :
Over 14 years of progressive HR leadership experience across diverse industries.MBA in Human Resources from a reputed institution, with a strong foundation in organizational behavior, labor laws, talent management, and strategic HRM.Leadership & Stakeholder Management :
Adept at partnering with CXOs and senior leadership to align HR strategies with business goals. Strong experience in leading HR teams and managing cross-functional projects.Certifications : SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or any relevant HR certifications.
