Desired Competencies (Technical / Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

Experience with working on Linux operating Systems.

Hands-on experience on setting up MongoDB replicasets and sharded clusters

Need to work on MongoDB upgrades and refreshes.

Need to work on MongoDB backup configuration using OpsMgr

Hands-On experience with MongoDB OpsMgr.

Experience working with X.509 authentication mechanism

Exposure to performance issues troubleshooting.

Experience with unix shell scripting.

Experience working with DB migration to Cloud.

Exposure to Kubernetes

Good-to-Have

Support several application and support teams with numerous on-going projects.

Exposure to AWS

Identify performance bottlenecks and propose solutions

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

Proven ability in UNIX shell scripting.

Upgrade & Migration of large databases across data Centre.

Experence in setting up Disaster Recovery sites activities

Manage regularly scheduled backups occasionally a database recovery.

Work on MongoDB deployments on Kubernetes.
