Job Title : Senior DBA Consultant

Work Location : Bangalore / Kolkata

Work Experience : 8 to 12 years

Job Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize PostgreSQL databases, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• Write, review, and optimize SQL and PL / SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures for performance.
• Conduct database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting to resolve bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with application developers to design efficient database solutions and ensure best practices in data modeling.
• Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Monitor database performance, capacity planning, and proactively identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, compliance, and security standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior DBAs and development teams.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business-critical applications and projects
