Oracle EBS DBA(database)

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Production Support  – Provide support and troubleshoot issues that arise within the Oracle EBS environment and related applications. Work closely with other IT teams and Oracle support to resolve issues
• Database Management  – Keep the databases running smoothly, develop and maintain scripts and queries
• Upgrades  – Keep all levels of the EBS infrastructure from OS to application tier current and take advantage of new cloud technologies
• Projects / Initiatives  – Help with customizations / integrations related to new projects and initiatives
• Release Management  – Perform deployments for monthly releases and support the deployment tool
• Patching and Vulnerability Management  – Prepare and perform quarterly patching of the entire stack and eliminate vulnerabilities
• Cloning and Refreshing : Clone production environments to create development and test environments
• Backup and Recovery :  Maintain and test backup and recovery policies and procedures
