Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Career Counsellor to join our US Staffing team. Candidates with 1 year of experience in US staffing, technical recruitment, or career counselling are preferred. The ideal candidate should be proactive in identifying suitable job opportunities for candidates, guiding them through the hiring process, and ensuring strong communication across all stages. Comprehensive training will be provided on US hiring processes, market trends, and industry terminology.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with potential IT candidates and guide them on appropriate career opportunities with our US clients.

Source and screen profiles using job boards such as Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn , and internal databases.

Review resumes and conduct initial discussions to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and job expectations.

Support senior counsellors and account managers in fulfilling client requirements.

Coordinate interviews, follow-ups, and feedback between candidates and internal teams.

Maintain accurate and updated candidate records in internal systems.

Learn and apply essential US hiring concepts including W2, C2C, 1099 , and various work authorizations.

Meet daily / weekly sourcing and candidate engagement targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Preferably 1 year of experience in US staffing, recruitment, or career counselling.

Strong understanding of sourcing strategies and job portal usage.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Willingness to work in US shifts .

Basic knowledge of US hiring terms and work visa categories.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, IT, or a related field .
