Position Overview :
The Deputy Vice President of Sales (Direct + Agency) will spearhead Signpost India's sales efforts across Direct and Agency verticals, with a regional responsibility encompassing all categories. This pivotal role involves driving revenue growth by leveraging Signpost India's diverse media portfolio, including such as DOOH, billboards, and transit media comprising of bus queue shelters, public bus advertising, metro station advertising, airport advertising.
The Deputy Vice President will act as a strategic leader, collaborating with brands, agencies, and PSUs to drive customized media plans tailored around client target audience utilising geospatial analysers and footfall demography. They will focus on maximizing Signpost India's market penetration, expanding its footprint across industries, and aligning its offerings with client needs. The Vice President is a strategic leader responsible for driving sales growth in a specified region. This role demands a results-oriented individual who can develop and implement effective sales strategies, manage high-performing sales teams, and cultivate relationships with key clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Responsible for revenue generation.
- Strategize and drive consultative selling practice by gathering customer insights and ideating impactful solutions accordingly with multiple offerings from Signpost India.
- Contribute to the overall growth and profit of Signpost India's business by collaborating and expanding the partner ecosystem through continuous market mapping.
- Build scale into the business development function and upsell opportunities with coherent solutions.
- A highly networked individual with pre-existing relationships with brands and OOH agencies.
- Laying down sales processes for the team.
- Mentor the team and keep them aligned to business goals and vision.
- Onboarded leading clients from the market on both channels with diligence and relationships.
- Develop clear and consistent strategies to achieve the stated business goals and revenue targets.
- Ability to perform and drive a team in a target-driven sales environment and cope with a fast-moving business environment.
- Lead the sales function with a focus on achieving the quarterly revenue targets, ensuring regional alignment across all categories.
- Exposure to creating opportunities for Revenue Generation by ensuring a Share of Wallet from Clients by strategic pitches with Brand understanding and Client First attitude.
- Deep and detailed understanding of Market Dynamics.
- Pivotal in setting up business strategies while achieving revenue, profit, and business growth while ensuring positive bottom line.
- Mapping industry / verticals to ensure in-depth coverage.
- Quickly understand the various media platforms that Signpost India offers.
- Establish strong relationships across PSU, Agency, and Direct clients to secure sustained revenue streams.
Skills & Qualifications
Extensive experience (typically 15+ years) in enterprise sales management or a similar role from OOH / DOOH / Print media / Radio media / TV Media / Digital Media industryIdeal candidate would be one with extensive cross industry experience in marketing Enterprise level products and services preferably subscription ones.He / She should have proven track record of building and nurturing long lasting B2B / Corporate and MSME relationshipsWell-connected at the highest levels with Brands and Agencies and has been driving and achieving revenue targets consistently.Powerful communicator and presenter - comfortable in using these skills to develop relationships with high-level stakeholders.Strong team player who collaborates with other departments throughout the sales process and inspires confidence in prospects.Proven ability to aggressively uncover opportunities and convert them into new business.Must possess excellent communication (written and spoken) skills.Candidate from ATL media background preferred.Extensive experience in managing large-scale sales operations, delivering results, and mentoring high-performance sales teams.Skills Required
