Designation - Deputy GM / GM - Shipping Experience Required - 15-20 years

Education - Masters degree in Management

Work Location - Mumbai

Job description :

Liasoning with Marketing / Demand & Supply Planning / Banking / Accounts and Logistics department for matters which are beyond DGM level for local & North shipments.

Liasoning with HOD of factories, Logistics department and vendors on case to case basis for urgent and emergency matters.

Monitor all departmental processes within the Shipping department and provide guidance and training wherever required by the departmental colleagues.

Providing various inputs for MIS & other reports as per requirements.

Update Market & Shipping feedback to Management.

Attend meeting with Shipping Lines, Transporters, Rail Operators, other vendors & interdepartmental in-house and outdoor as and when required.

Visit to various ICD’s, Rail Operators, branch offices, factories, Customs, Port for shipment related matters.

Cost Control

To provide strong and disciplined leadership which will be essence of his managing the department and will be closely reported to his Seniors
