About the job

Role Overview :

The Operations Lead will be responsible for managing the end-to-end operations at the Distribution Centre (DC) in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. This includes overseeing shift-based functions such as packing, receiving, dispatch, and last-mile delivery. The role plays a key part in driving operational efficiency, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and maintaining adherence to SOPs and service-level standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead daily operations across packing, receiving, dispatch, and delivery functions.
Supervise and align shift managers, warehouse staff, and delivery teams for smooth execution.
Collaborate with the MIS team to track orders, monitor manpower, and report on key operational metrics.
Drive adherence to SLAs for inventory movement, turnaround times, and delivery success rates.
Ensure hygiene, safety, and compliance with SOPs across the DC.
Identify operational bottlenecks and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Report daily KPIs and operational dashboards to the City Head.

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree or MBA in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.

5+ years of relevant experience in warehouse, logistics, or e-commerce operations.

Strong leadership skills with hands-on experience in managing shift-based teams.

Proficiency in MIS reporting, operations dashboards, and inventory systems.

Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-volume environments.

Prior experience in fresh produce, FMCG, or food supply chain is a strong advantage.

MBA / PGDM (preferred).
