Job Description : Paint Technologist - IRL & General Paint Plant Operations

Position Title : Paint Technologist / Paint Plant Engineer

Experience Required : Minimum 3 Years in Paint Plant Operations

Qualification : Diploma / B.Sc. / B.Tech in Paint Technology, Chemical Engineering, or related field

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the paint plant, ensuring adherence to production targets, safety, and quality standards.
• Work with IRL (InfraRed Reflective) paint formulations - development, testing, and production.
• Optimize paint application processes : spray, dip, powder coating, etc.
• Manage batch processing, raw material mixing, and pigment dispersion.
• Monitor and control process parameters to reduce defects (e.g., orange peel, sagging, poor adhesion).
• Support quality control (QC) procedures and troubleshoot paint defects or inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with R&D for new product development and performance enhancement.
• Ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards in the plant.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (maintenance, planning, QA) for smooth operations.
