Job description

Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ECC cloud migrations
Proven experience in SAP Basis administration
Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Strong understanding of SAP system landscapes and architecture

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and execute SAP ECC migrations to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or private cloud)

Perform system analysis of existing SAP ECC landscapes and define migration strategies

Develop and implement cloud migration plans, including cutover and rollback procedures

Manage SAP ECC systems using strong SAP Basis administration skills throughout migration

Optimize SAP ECC performance in cloud environments (sizing, tuning, resource allocation)

Coordinate migration efforts across cross-functional teams (SAP, infra, security)

Troubleshoot issues during all phases of the cloud migration lifecycle

Ensure security compliance and implement cloud security best practices

Use SAP migration tools (SAP Migration Cockpit, SUM with DMO) for data migration

Design and implement disaster recovery solutions for cloud-hosted SAP ECC systems

Provision and configure cloud resources in collaboration with infra teams

Implement automation using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or SAP LaMa

Maintain migration documentation including architecture, configurations, and lessons learned

Contribute to building reusable migration templates, methodologies, and knowledge artifacts

Support possible ECC to S / 4HANA migrations in cloud environments
