Description :

We are seeking an experienced Azure Migration Specialist to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud migration projects, specifically focused on Azure, and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing migration strategies to ensure a smooth transition of applications and workloads.

Responsibilities :

Design and implement migration strategies for moving applications and workloads to Azure.
Assess current infrastructure and identify opportunities for optimization during the migration process.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transition and integration of services on Azure.
Monitor and manage cloud resources post-migration to ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency.
Provide technical guidance and support to clients during and after the migration process.
Document migration processes, configurations, and best practices for future reference and compliance.

Skills and Qualifications :

8-10 years of experience in cloud computing and migration projects, specifically with Azure.

Strong understanding of Azure architecture and services including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, and Azure Networking.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Azure CLI for automation of deployment and management tasks.

Experience with cloud migration tools and services like Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery, and third-party migration tools.

Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices in cloud environments.

Ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues that may arise during migration and provide effective solutions.
