Job Title : Head of sales and Marketing
Key Responsibilities :
Sales Strategy & Execution :
- Define and execute the overall sales strategy aligned with the company's growth goals.
- Lead and mentor the sales team to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Identify and onboard key clients including eCommerce platforms, retailers, SMEs, and enterprise clients.
- Build channel partnerships and reseller networks.
- Use data-driven sales forecasting and performance tracking.
Marketing & Brand Growth :
Develop integrated marketing campaigns (digital, offline, influencer, BTL / ATL) to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition.Collaborate with product and tech teams for go-to-market planning of new features or services.Oversee performance marketing, SEO / SEM, content marketing, and social media strategy.Build PR and communication strategies to position the company as an industry leader.Team Leadership ;Cross-functional Coordination :
Build, lead, and scale sales and marketing teams.Work closely with Product, Operations, and Customer Success teams to align strategies.Set KPIs, monitor performance, and continuously optimize processes.Customer& Market Intelligence :
Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activities.Identify new growth markets, segments, and strategic opportunities.Gather feedback from clients to improve product-market fit and service quality.Qualifications & Skills :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).8–12+ years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in logistics, SaaS, aggregator platforms, or eCommerce.Proven leadership in managing multi-functional teams.Strong understanding of the logistics and shipping ecosystem.Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Data-driven with experience using CRM tools, marketing automation, and analytics platforms.Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on execution and results.
