Editorial Style Manager

Title : Content QA & Tone Editor (3-month contract → potential FT)

Location : Remote (Mumbai preferred)

Duration : 3 months initial (with view to hire full time)

Role Overview :

You will serve as the editorial gatekeeper for all content : from LLM-generated scripts, research-driven topical pieces, to micro-copy inside the product. Your job is to ensure facts stay intact, language is accessible (grade-level tuned), tone stays aligned to brand, and every piece “feels right”.

What You’ll Do :

• Visit each topic or script, review it for accuracy, flow, tone, readability.
• Use guardrail prompts to generate grade-level variants (e.G., “rewrite at grade 9 level”, “rewrite at grade 11 level”) while preserving meaning.
• Maintain a Tone & Grade-Level Guide for the brand (you’ll create / update).
• Flag and log issues : jargon overuse, tone drift, ambiguity, repetition, mis-alignment with brand voice.
• Partner with LLM integration authors, product team, and UX to ensure content flows logically in product context.
• Provide micro-copy insights : how does this button read? How does this notification feel?
• Track edits and provide metrics : e.G., revision rate, readability scores, internal bug catch rate.

What We’re Looking For :

proven editorial experience (agency, startup, product) preferred.
