Role & Responsibilities :
Patient Care
- Provide comprehensive medical and surgical care to paediatric patients.
- Conduct evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and postoperative care.
Surgical Procedures
Perform complex paediatric surgeries including congenital anomalies, oncologic surgeries, trauma cases, and other surgical conditions.Multidisciplinary Collaboration
Work closely with paediatricians, neonatologists, anaesthesiologists, and other specialists to deliver coordinated patient care.Parent and Family Communication
Explain medical conditions, treatment options, and surgical procedures clearly to parents and families.Ensure families remain informed and involved in decision-making.Educational Role
Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in paediatric surgery.Share clinical and surgical expertise to support academic growth.Research and Academic Contributions
Participate in research initiatives and contribute to scientific publications.Present research findings at medical conferences to advance paediatric surgical practices.Quality Improvement
Engage in quality improvement projects to enhance patient safety, surgical outcomes, and healthcare practices.Skills Required
