Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Director -Business Development to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and expanding our client base within the events industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify and prospect new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation strategies.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and ensuring client satisfaction.
3. Create and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
4. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients.
5. Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties.
6.Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
7.Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our services and build brand awareness.
8.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, logistics, and finance to ensure seamless execution of events and client satisfaction.
9.Track and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to management.
Profile requirements
1) 15+ years of experience into client servicing and business development within events industry
2) Market knowledge and proven working experience in relevant role
3) Post-graduation / graduation

1) Goal-oriented, organized team player.
2) Proven track record of success in business development, preferably within the events industry.
3) Eager to expand the company with new sales, clients, and territories.
4) Ability to develop effective presentations and proposals and be able to deliver these to decision makers.
5) Excellent interpersonal and personal presentation skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
