About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Sales Director (Inside Sales) to lead and scale a high-performing inside sales organization at Grexa AI. This role demands proven expertise in managing large, fast-paced sales teams, driving predictable revenue, and building a culture of discipline, ownership, and continuous improvement.
You will lead a 50-member inside sales team through multiple team leads, owning the full revenue cycle, from pipeline generation to closure, while ensuring operational excellence, training rigor, and data-driven execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Performance Management
Lead, mentor, and motivate an inside sales team of 50 executives & managers through multiple team leads.
Build a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous learning.
Conduct regular performance reviews, skill assessments, and career development sessions.
2. Revenue Ownership & Pipeline Management
Take end-to-end ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Monitor and optimize pipeline health, lead flow, and conversion rates across all stages.
Implement strong forecasting and revenue tracking mechanisms.
3. Sales Strategy & Execution
Own the complete inside sales funnel — from the first interaction to deal closure.
Design and drive scalable playbooks for lead qualification, demo calls, and follow-ups.
Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to improve funnel velocity and lead quality.
4. Coaching, Problem-Solving & Escalations
Engage actively with team leads and sales executives to diagnose and solve operational bottlenecks.
Provide hands-on guidance and escalation support for critical deal closures.
Foster a problem-solving mindset across the team.
5. Process Discipline, Training & CRM Hygiene
Institutionalise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for consistent customer experience.
Enforce CRM discipline, call hygiene, and structured reporting practices.
Drive continuous training programs to sharpen product knowledge and objection handling.
Qualifications & Experience
5+ years of total sales experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role managing large inside sales teams (40+ members).
Proven record of driving high-volume B2B or B2C inside sales (preferably SaaS, EdTech, or fast-scaling digital businesses).
Expertise in funnel management, sales forecasting, productivity analysis, and CRM usage.
Strong analytical mindset with comfort in data-driven decision-making.
Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
