Job Summary

The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations maintenance and safety of the organizations buildings grounds and infrastructure. This role ensures that all facilities are well-maintained secure and compliant with health and safety regulations while supporting the needs of employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the maintenance and repair of buildings equipment and systems (HVAC electrical plumbing etc.).

Manage facility budgets including procurement of supplies and services.

Supervise facility staff and external contractors / vendors.

Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations.

Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.

Coordinate office space allocation moves and renovations.

Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and issues.

Maintain records of maintenance inspections and repairs.

Monitor and manage facility security systems and protocols.

Liaise with management and other departments to support operational needs.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Facility Management Engineering Business Administration or related field (preferred).

Proven experience in facility management or a similar role.

Knowledge of building systems maintenance procedures and safety regulations.

Strong organizational and leadership skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proficiency with facility management software and MS Office Suite.
