This role focuses on monitoring and optimizing transportation operations, ensuring timely deliveries, analyzing performance, and supporting process improvements across courier and distribution networks.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor daily service performance in collaboration with couriers, distribution centers, and customer care teams.
- Ensure all delivery routes are completed and recorded with proof of delivery (POD) in transportation systems.
- Review, maintain, and update records in transportation technology applications such as nuVizz and Transportation Management Systems (TMS), including route updates and invoicing.
- Use Transportation Health Index dashboards to monitor and analyze service performance, providing insights and recommendations to couriers for improvement.
- Conduct customer onboarding into transportation routes and support carrier transitions.
- Analyze transportation KPIs, compile data from multiple systems, and identify opportunities for process improvements, enhanced customer experience, and cost reductions.
- Prepare data and requirements for transportation RFPs and new customer onboarding initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the transportation team and organizational goals.
Experience and Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in transportation, logistics, or courier operations.Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is a plus.Exposure to courier, pool distribution, small package, LTL, or TL environments is preferred.Experience in preparation or response to RFPs within a transportation environment.Skills and Knowledge
