Role : Senior Business Analyst US Healthcare
Location : Kochi (On-site)
Role Overview :
The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for translating complex US healthcare processes and payer requirements into clear, actionable product specifications.
This role requires strong analytical skills, deep domain knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Design.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze, document, and interpret US healthcare workflows, payer mandates, clinical processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Translate product vision and business needs into comprehensive requirement documents, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on scope, requirements, and deliverables.
- Conduct gap analysis, workflow mapping, and process optimization to support product enhancements.
- Validate product features during development cycles and ensure solutions meet business and user needs.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios, validating outcomes, and documenting improvements.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication, requirement sign-offs, and change management activities.
- Help ensure product releases are high-quality, well-defined, and require minimal rework.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Healthcare Management, or related field.5 to 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in US healthcare technology, provider systems, or payer environments.Strong understanding of US healthcare concepts such as CPT / HCPCS codes, prior authorization, claims processing, RCM, MACRA / MIPS, and payer-provider workflows.Proven experience in requirements gathering, documentation, workflow analysis, and business process modeling.Hands-on experience working in Agile environments.Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.(ref : hirist.tech)
