Core Responsibilities

Financial Record-Keeping : Documenting and maintaining accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and invoices.

Financial Statement Preparation : Preparing and presenting key financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Financial Analysis : Analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, and providing these insights to management.

Budgeting and Forecasting : Creating, reviewing, and managing budget forecasts.

Reconciliation : Reconciling financial discrepancies by studying and collecting account information.

Auditing : Assisting with internal and external audits and collaborating with auditors to prepare reports.

Requirements

Work experience as an Accountant. Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks. Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
