About the Role :
We are seeking an accomplished Digital Workplace Lead Architect to define and drive enterprise-wide strategies for a modern, secure, and seamless digital workplace. The role requires thought leadership, architectural excellence, and hands-on expertise across endpoint management, collaboration platforms, unified communications, and OT / IT integration. The ideal candidate will ensure business agility, user experience, and operational efficiency across a distributed, multi-site Responsibilities :
- Define and own the global digital workplace architecture and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies.
- Provide architectural leadership across M365, Intune, Teams Voice, unified communications, and endpoint / MDM solutions.
- Drive interoperability and seamless integration across OT / IT platforms, MES / ERP, and cloud ecosystems.
- Champion security-first and zero trust principles in workplace solutions, ensuring compliance with global standards.
- Lead, mentor, and guide domain architects and technical teams in the digital workplace ecosystem.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, plant operations, and IT teams to enhance employee productivity and collaboration.
- Drive innovation in digital workplace tools, enabling automation, mobility, and cloud-first adoption.
- Ensure governance, scalability, and standardization of digital workplace solutions across global sites.
- Engage in vendor evaluation, product roadmaps, and enterprise-level solution design.
- Ensure delivery adherence through ITIL and Agile frameworks, balancing speed, quality, and user experience.
Required Skills & Competencies
Proven experience in designing and implementing digital workplace solutions across enterprise environments.Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Power Platform).Expertise in endpoint management, MDM, and mobile-first workplace strategies.Deep understanding of identity and access management, zero trust frameworks, and cloud security principles.Experience with OT / IT convergence, MES / ERP integration, and manufacturing / plant floor environments.Familiarity with lean manufacturing, TPM, or Six Sigma principles.Enterprise Architecture certifications (TOGAF, Zachman) or Microsoft Certified : Enterprise Administrator Expert.Strong grasp of ITIL, Agile, and DevOps delivery practices.Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and drive innovation in digital workplace strategies.(ref : hirist.tech)
