Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a seasoned culinary professional to oversee food production, quality control and team management. As Culinary Operations Manager, you will be responsible for directing the daily activities of our kitchen team, ensuring seamless service delivery and maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
- Direct and support your team members in their roles, evaluating performance and making recommendations for improvement.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork among staff.
- Oversee menu planning, inventory management and supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct regular taste tests and quality checks to ensure that all dishes meet our high standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement new recipes, menus and catering services.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales and employee performance, using this data to inform strategic decisions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need :
A minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior culinary position, preferably in an upscale hotel or resort setting.Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse team.Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.A culinary school degree and intermediate computer software skills are essential.Knowledge of basic accounting principles and excellent budgeting skills.The ability to work effectively under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.Benefits
