The field sales manager will be responsible for driving on-ground sales activities, managing field executives, developing sales strategies, and achieving revenue targets. Key Responsibilities
- Sales & revenue growth :
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Conduct client visits, meetings, product demonstrations, and negotiations.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients and decision-makers.
- Team management & coordination :
- Train, guide, and monitor the field sales team.
- Assign daily / weekly tasks and track performance of field executives.
- Conduct joint field visits with the team to support closure and lead conversion.
- Ensure timely reporting and structured communication from team members.
- Lead management & conversion :
- Review leads generated by the team and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Support team in closing high-value deals.
- Maintain proper documentation of leads, client interactions, and conversion details.
- Market research & competitive analysis :
- Conduct on-ground market research to identify trends and competitor activities.
- Provide insights to management for pricing, product improvement, and strategy building.
- Reporting & documentation :
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Maintain accurate data in CRM / Excel for leads, visits, and closures.
- Present performance summaries to management with actionable insights.
- Customer relationship management :
- Maintain long-term client relationships for upselling and repeat business.
- Resolve customer issues or escalations arising from field operations.
- Coordination with internal departments :
- Work closely with operations, support, and finance teams for smooth order execution.
- Ensure client onboarding and service delivery as per expectations.
