The Treasury Executive will assist the Treasury Head in managing the company's cash flow, banking operations, and trade finance activities. The individual will be responsible for handling financial instruments like Letter of Credit (LC), Supplier Payments Post Bill Discounting (PBD), Supplier Bill Discounting (SBD), and Bank Guarantees, ensuring seamless fund management and optimizing liquidity.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Banking & Fund Management
- Manage daily fund positions and ensure optimal utilization of cash.
- Coordinate with banks for fund transfers, forex transactions, and interest optimization.
- Monitor and report on company cash flow and working capital needs.
2. Trade Finance & Banking Instruments
Handle end-to-end processing of Letters of Credit (LC), ensuring timely issuance and closure.Manage Post Bill Discounting (PBD) and Supplier Bill Discounting (SBD) to optimize working capital.Oversee the issuance and renewal of Bank Guarantees (BGs) and ensure compliance with terms.Negotiate banking charges and ensure cost-effective trade finance solutions.3. Compliance & Documentation
Ensure adherence to CENTRAL BANK regulations in trade finance activities.Maintain records of LCs, PBDs, SBDs, and BGs, ensuring compliance with audit and internal control requirements.Work closely with finance and accounts teams for reconciliation of bank statements.4. Relationship Management
Coordinate with banks and financial institutions to ensure smooth treasury operations.Work with procurement, finance, and accounts teams to align treasury operations with business requirements.Assist in credit rating reviews and financial due diligence.5. MIS & Reporting
Prepare periodic treasury reports, including cash flow forecasts, bank position reports, and trade finance summaries.Assist in preparing board presentations and strategic treasury insights.Analyze financial data to support decision-making on fund allocation.Key Skills & Competencies :
Strong knowledge of Trade Finance, LC, PBD, SBD, Bank GuaranteesGood understanding of working capital management and banking operationsProficiency in Excel, SAPStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and negotiation skills for dealing with banks and vendorsAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple tasksPreferred Qualifications & Experience :
3-6 years of experience in treasury operations in a retail, FMCG, or trading company.Prior experience handling trade finance transactions with banks.Hands-on experience with banking documentation and regulatory compliance.Salary & Benefits :
