Job Responsibilities
- Assist SBU Head in preparing financial, manpower, capital, and operational budgets
- Ensure inspection operations are enhanced per SGS policies and client requirements
- Monitor inspection scheduling and execution as per client SOPs
- Maintain labor cost efficiency by monitoring expenses vs. revenue
- Supervise daily staff activities and optimize profitability
- Develop new and existing business through regular client interactions
- Monitor performance, investigate complaints, and drive zero-defect operations
- Act as liaison between clients and execution teams including overseas offices
- Handle client communication, complaints, and claims resolution
- Maintain department quality standards and monitor KPIs
- Ensure compliance with client demands and statutory requirements
- Approve certificates, reports, and invoices within set timelines
- Analyze complaints, prepare reports, and drive corrective actions
- Draft and negotiate contracts with local and international clients
- Oversee commercial issues including credit control and collections
- Manage operations for efficiency, productivity, and quality
- Ensure accurate and timely customer reporting
- Coordinate complaint handling with managers and quality teams
- Identify training needs and coordinate with technical auditors
- Lead and develop the branch inspection team
- Implement company disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Review quality files, documents, and capability matrices
- Support NQM assignments to ensure quality and accreditation compliance
Qualifications
Essential : Degree in Textiles / ApparelsDesirable : Experience in Production & Quality ControlSpecialization : Operational experience with business development exposure and strong communication skillsSkills Required
