We’re looking for an Principal Analytics Consultant to join our fast-growing team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll leverage advanced data analytics, predictive modelling, and real-world data (RWD) to deliver high-impact outcomes for pharmaceutical companies, healthcare providers, and governments—across Australia and globally.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the full lifecycle of pharmaceutical products—from development to market launch and post-market monitoring—using advanced analytics to uncover key trends and opportunities.
  • Conduct market sizing, cohort analysis, risk stratification, and KPI modelling to inform product and marketing strategies.
  • Build and optimise automated data pipelines (e.g., in Dataiku) to improve reporting efficiency and deliver faster insights.
  • Develop and present interactive dashboards, visualisations, and executive presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Partner with Product and Sales teams to translate analytical insights into scalable, productised solutions that align with our platform vision.
  • Collaborate with regional analytics teams, sharing best practices in predictive modelling, machine learning, and advanced SQL querying to ensure consistent quality and innovation.
  • Mentor junior team members, promoting analytical excellence and knowledge sharing.

Essential Criteria

  • 5+ years’ experience in commercial Patient Analytics, commercial data analytics, data science, or advanced manipulation and interpretation of real-world healthcare datasets.
  • Proven expertise in SQL (advanced joins, window functions, aggregations) , Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, XGBoost), and data visualisation tools ( Power BI, Excel VBA / Macros, Power Query ).
  • Strong background in healthcare analytics using datasets from providers such as IQVIA, OPTUM, and KOMODO .
  • Experience with predictive modelling, machine learning, risk stratification, and product uptake forecasting .
  • Skilled in dashboard development, storytelling, and executive-level presentations .
  • Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Health Economics ).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analytics into actionable business recommendations.
