Description

We are seeking a skilled Surgery Coder to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience in surgical coding, demonstrating proficiency in accurately coding surgical procedures and collaborating effectively with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze medical records to ensure accurate coding of surgical procedures.
  • Assign appropriate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes for surgeries and related services.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and coding queries.
  • Stay updated with the latest coding guidelines and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Prepare and maintain records of coding reviews and audits for quality assurance.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 1-5 years of experience in surgical coding or medical coding.
  • Any certification is preferred
  • Proficient in CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy related to surgical procedures.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and coding software.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
