Preferred Skills & Competencies

Minimum 3 years of experience in anesthesia coding.

• Certification required : CPC, COC, CIC, or CRC (AAPC) or CCS-P / CCS (AHIMA).
• Strong understanding of ASA coding guidelines and anesthesia modifiers.
• Experience with EMR and medical billing software (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Athena, etc.).
• Strong communication skills to interact with providers and support teams.
