Scrum Master

Responsibilities

• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews / demos, and retrospectives for multiple teams in stable environments.
• Track and communicate team commitments, velocity and sprint / quarterly progress.
• Collaborate across scrum teams in R&D to help remove team impediments.
• Escalate team impediments that the team are unable to resolve themselves, or with your help.
• Relentlessly driving continuous improvement through :
• Retrospectives, learning, giving feedback, challenging the team, and coaching others to do so as well.
• Continuous learning on agile techniques such as story mapping, CI / CD, BDD, TDD, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automation.
• Highlight team success within and outside the team.
• Plan and facilitate quarterly planning events.
• Present and communicate to product development executives and leadership.
• Coach team members :
• To improve collaboration and self-organization
• On Agile practices and encourage inspection and adaptation
• To ensure backlog is refined (properly defined User Stories)
