Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with 6+ years in application development to join our remote team. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in JavaScript, Flow Designer, and core modules including ITSM and HRSD.
This role is critical for configuring, scripting, and automating various platform elements, with a mandatory focus on ITOM (IT Operations Management) and CMDB (Configuration Management Database).
Key Responsibilities :
- Platform Configuration : Configure and maintain essential platform elements, including catalog items, UI policies, notifications, and approval flows, ensuring an optimal user experience.
- Scripting and Automation : Write and optimize scripts using the Glide API to automate complex form behavior and implement essential background business logic and workflows.
- Integration Support : Provide technical support for integration tasks, primarily involving REST APIs or bulk data imports, to connect ServiceNow with external enterprise systems.
- Agile Collaboration : Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and QA testing, to ensure timely and high-quality feature delivery.
- Documentation & Governance : Contribute to comprehensive documentation, manage version control, and create user guides to support platform governance and knowledge transfer.
- Module Support : Apply hands-on experience and support to key functional areas, including ITSM and HRSD modules.
Qualifications :
Experience : 6+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow application development.Mandatory Skills : Deep technical expertise and experience with ITOM (IT Operations Management) and CMDB (Configuration Management Database).Technical Proficiency : Strong proficiency in JavaScript and the Flow Designer automation tool.Module Experience : Hands-on experience with core ServiceNow modules : ITSM (IT Service Management) and HRSD (HR Service Delivery).Integration : Familiarity with REST API integrations and working knowledge of common script includes.Platform Tools : Experience with other key platform tools and modules, including FSM (Field Service Management) and EC PrO (Employee Center Pro).Soft Skills : Strong collaborative attitude and excellent troubleshooting skills.Preferred Skills : Certification as a ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).(ref : hirist.tech)
