Project Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Project Coordinator with 1 3 years of experience in the aerospace and defense manufacturing industry. The role involves coordinating project activities supporting cross-functional teams ensuring the timely execution of deliverables and maintaining compliance with industry quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist Project Managers in planning scheduling and monitoring project activities
• Coordinate with internal teams including R&D Engineering Production Purchase Quality and Stores to ensure smooth project execution.
• Track project milestones deliverables and timelines updating stakeholders on progress.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including reports minutes of meetings risk registers and compliance records.
• Support in managing procurement schedules vendor coordination and material follow- ups.
• Ensure adherence to AS9100 / defense industry quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Highlight project risks delays or resource constraints and assist in resolution.
• Organize review meetings and ensure effective communication among stakeholders.
• Prepare MIS reports dashboards and project status updates for management.

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor s degree in engineering or related field.

1 3 years of experience in project coordination within the aerospace / defense manufacturing industry .

Strong knowledge of MS Office MS Project (or equivalent project management tools).

Excellent organizational communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

Exposure to ERP systems .

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma methodologies.

Certification in Project Management (CAPM / Prince2 / PMI-ACP) will be an added advantage.
