Key Responsibilities :
Category Strategy & Growth
- Build and execute robust business plans and long-term category strategies.
- Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, trends, and customer needs.
- Define competitive go-to-market strategies to drive growth and differentiation.
P&L Ownership
Own the category P&L, driving revenue, profitability, and pricing strategies.Optimize trade margins and operational efficiency to maximize returns.Product & Portfolio Management
Lead new product development (NPD) and manage the complete product lifecycle.Ensure product compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.Continuously evaluate and refine the product portfolio for market relevance.Sales & Channel Development
Build and scale the category across modern trade, e-commerce, exports, and B2B channels.Collaborate with sales teams to develop partnerships and expand market share.Enable sales teams with insights, tools, and strategies for effective execution.Marketing & Brand Building
Partner with marketing to design ATL, BTL, digital campaigns, and influencer collaborations.Leverage data-driven insights to strengthen brand positioning and customer engagement.Required Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelor's / Master's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Food Technology, or a related field.10-15 years of experience in Health Supplements, Nutraceuticals, or Wellness categories, with a strong track record of scaling businesses.Proven expertise in P&L management, pricing, and trade strategies.Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and product quality standards in the wellness industry.Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and execution skills.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.Experience working across multiple sales channels, including modern trade and e-commerce(ref : iimjobs.com)
