Role Description
GRE is often the guest's first point of contact. She must provide excellent service at all times by ensuring promptness, courtesy and warmth. To welcome all guest and assist them during check in and escort them to their room.
Detailed Job Description
- To welcome guests warmly and courteously to the Hotel
- To greet all guests on arrival as per standards instructed
- To meet all the guest at the time of departure and take their reviews
- To attend all incoming calls immediately
- To ensure helpfulness to any caller requiring attention
- To provide special attention to callers on 'hold'
- To use the caller's name whenever possible
- To handle incoming STD calls on faster priority
- To maintain accurate time records for all STD calls
- To ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment installed
- To remain constantly updated with information on all group Hotels so as to be able to provide maximum assistance to the caller
- To attend all telephonic complaints in time
- To keep the work area and lobby clean at all times
- To assist in providing proper information necessary to make various periodic statements and to assist actually in making the statements
- To operate various systems / equipment located at the reception desk
- To handle all guests without prejudice or bias
- To receive all couriers / post etc and ensure that they are correctly delivered to the concerned person.
- To follow the house rules and policies laid down by the management
- To adhere to strict grooming and hygiene standards

Strong Guest Relations and Customer Service skills2 Year of experience in Front Office in HospitalityExcellent Communication and Sales skillsExperience in Receptionist DutiesAbility to handle guest complaints and requests professionallyStrong organizational and multitasking skillsBachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferredPrevious experience in hospitality or customer service is a plusSkills Required
