The team :

Delivery Engineering team is part of eBay's Global Technology (CT) organization and is responsible for the AI / ML-infused eBay Developer Platform used by eBay's engineering teams to build and deliver software. The team is responsible for eBay's Continuous Delivery platform and various other AI-infused no-code / low-code platforms used on a daily basis by eBay’s engineers.

The role :

We are looking for a Platform engineer who is passionate about building the next generation Continuous Delivery and Developer Productivity platform for eBay. You will collaborate to invent, design and implement scalable, efficient and reliable solutions on the platform side. Your work will enable eBay's product teams develop, test and release software with high velocity. You will help with a key company wide initiative - Engineering Velocity.

The ideal candidate will have a solid engineering proficiency, proven track record of solving critical engineering problems. The candidate will be expected to have strong communication skills and to be capable of cross-group collaborations.

What you will accomplish :

• Work closely w / colleagues and customers in different functional groups and remote offices
• Identify problem areas in developer experience / productivity areas, write proposals for platform level solutions, align various stakeholders, design, build and deliver solutions end to end.
• Identify project risks, quantify risk / benefit relationships and provide alternative solutions as well as risk mitigation

• Communicate optimally and clearly within your team and across teams.
