About the Java Developer
Location : Pune, India (Hybrid)
Experience : 8+ years
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, high-performance Java-based applications.
- Architect and implement robust RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex application issues and optimise performance across systems.
- Conduct and participate in detailed code reviews to ensure high-quality standards.
- Define and implement best practices for software development, testing, and deployment.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to streamline CI / CD pipelines and deployment processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Programming : Expert proficiency in Java (version 8 or above) with a deep understanding of object-oriented design principles.Frameworks : Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate / JPA.APIs : Mastery in building and consuming RESTful APIs and implementing API security measures.Databases : Strong expertise in designing and managing relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.Tools : Advanced knowledge of Maven / Gradle, and CI / CD tools like Jenkins or similar.Testing : Expertise in automated testing frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, and Mockito.Development Practices : In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.Problem Solving : Strong analytical and debugging skills with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.Additional Skills (Good to Have) :
