Cloudgov.ai is seeking a high-energy, curious, and ambitious SaaS Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Go-To-Market team. As the first touchpoint for many of our prospects, you’ll play a vital role in fueling Cloudgov’s growth engine—identifying potential customers, crafting personalized outreach, and driving qualified meetings for our Account Executives.

This is a career-defining opportunity to break into the AI + Cloud FinOps industry, learn directly from senior leadership, and help shape how enterprises adopt autonomous FinOps.

What You’ll Achieve

  • Pipeline Generation : Identify and qualify target accounts through research, outbound emails, calls, and LinkedIn engagement to build a strong top-of-funnel pipeline.
  • Personalized Outreach : Craft compelling messaging tailored to specific personas—CIOs, CTOs, FinOps leads, and engineering managers—highlighting Cloudgov’s AI-driven value proposition.
  • Collaboration with AE Team : Partner closely with Account Executives to align strategies, hand off qualified leads, and continuously refine outbound campaigns.
  • Market Intelligence : Stay informed about industry trends, competitor movements, and cloud cost optimization challenges to sharpen your outreach.
  • CRM & Process Discipline : Maintain organized records in HubSpot, ensuring every interaction is logged, tracked, and optimized for conversion insights.
  • Represent Cloudgov Brand : Act as the face of Cloudgov.ai in early conversations, showcasing professionalism, product knowledge, and enthusiasm for solving complex cloud cost challenges.

  • Strong Communicator : You can write concise, engaging outreach emails and confidently engage decision-makers over the phone or LinkedIn.
  • Tech-Savvy : You’re comfortable using CRM systems (HubSpot preferred), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and tools like Apollo or Lemlist for outbound campaigns.
  • Collaborative Mindset : You value teamwork, embrace cross-functional collaboration, and contribute ideas to improve outbound effectiveness.
  • Resilient & Positive : You handle rejection with a smile and see every ‘no’ as one step closer to a ‘yes.’
  • Preferred Skills

  • 0–2 years of experience in SaaS sales, inside sales, or lead generation (internships count!).
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) or FinOps concepts is a plus.
  • Experience using outbound automation tools like HubSpot, Apollo, Lemlist, or Outreach.io.
  • Strong research skills for account mapping and persona targeting.
  • Creative thinker with a knack for crafting messages that resonate with tech and finance leaders.
