About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Group Head – Copy to lead and elevate the creative output of our agency. The ideal candidate is a master storyteller with a strong conceptual mind, proven leadership abilities, and the passion to mentor a team of copywriters while pushing the boundaries of creativity.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, inspire, and mentor the copy team to deliver high-quality, engaging, and innovative ideas aligned with brand objectives.

Partner with the Creative Director and Art team to conceptualize and execute integrated campaigns.

Oversee copy across multiple brands and categories, ensuring consistency in tone, style, and messaging.

Provide strategic input during briefing stages and translate briefs into compelling narratives.

Review, refine, and elevate copy to meet the highest creative and brand standards.

Build and nurture a strong creative culture by guiding and developing copywriters.

Collaborate with design, strategy, and account teams to deliver effective, on-brief solutions.

Stay abreast of industry trends, digital innovations, and cultural movements to keep the work relevant and fresh.

Represent the agency in client meetings, confidently presenting and selling creative ideas.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in advertising / creative agencies with a strong, diverse portfolio.

Excellent command of language, with the ability to adapt tone and style to suit brand needs.

Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and teams effectively.

A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.

Passion for storytelling, creativity, and innovation, with a drive to push creative boundaries.
