Role : Senior Data Analyst
About the Role :
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to play a pivotal role in shaping our analytics ecosystem as we scale toward a successful IPO. This position requires deep technical expertise, business acumen, and strong storytelling skills to deliver actionable insights that accelerate growth. You will work cross-functionally with teams including Product Engineering, AI Research, Content, Sales, Revenue Operations, Marketing, and Finance to design robust data models, build scalable reporting, and generate analyses that directly inform strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities :
Data Modeling & Warehousing :
- Build and optimize data models using DBT and maintain scalable, reusable pipelines.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and consistency across multiple data sources and warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).
- Maintain and evolve a single source of truth framework across the organization by identifying and correcting gaps, redundancies, or inconsistencies.
Analytics & Reporting :
Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations in Tableau to monitor business performance, identify opportunities, and highlight risks.Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large, high-dimensional datasets.Proactively monitor dashboards and reports for accuracy, reliability, and performance optimization.Business Insights & Strategy :
Partner with stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Operations to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.Design KPIs and metrics frameworks that align with SaaS business drivers (ARR, churn, CAC, LTV, NRR, pipeline conversion, etc.).Perform ad-hoc deep-dive analyses to support product decisions, revenue optimization, and operational efficiency.Create data storytelling narratives that communicate insights to executive leadership and board-level stakeholders.Process & Enablement :
Implement best practices for analytics processes, governance, and automation to support rapid scaling.Onboard and train business / technical stakeholders on BI tools, self-service analytics, and data interpretation.Collaborate with engineering to identify opportunities for new data pipelines, better instrumentation, and improved data accessibility.Proactively recommend and implement improvements in tooling, data pipelines, monitoring, and reporting infrastructure.Who You Are & Technical Skills :
5 - 8 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst, BI Engineer, or Analytics Specialist in a high-growth SaaS, technology, or consulting environment.Advanced expertise in SQL (query optimization, performance tuning, complex joins, CTEs, window functions).Strong experience with Tableau (LOD expressions, advanced visualizations, dashboard performance tuning).Hands-on experience with data modeling frameworks (DBT preferred).Expertise working with cloud-based data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).Proficiency in Linux / Unix environments and ability to leverage Linux commands for datamanipulation and automation.
Preferred Plus :
Strong understanding of SaaS business metrics and financial reporting drivers.Experience with statistical analysis, experimentation (A / B testing), or predictive modeling is a plus.Exposure to ETL / ELT pipelines and data orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, dbt Cloud).Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis, automation, and advanced analytics.Familiarity with data governance, compliance, and security frameworks.Mindset & Soft Skills :
