We are seeking a highly skilled Firewall Security Architect to design, implement, and manage enterprise-level firewall systems, ensuring robust network security and threat mitigation.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls (physical and virtual) and will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining advanced security systems in multi-cloud environments like AWS, Azure, and GCP.

The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to address security gaps, managing complex firewall rules, and staying updated on evolving threats and security best Responsibilities :

As a Firewall Security Architect, your primary responsibility will be to design and implement firewall architectures using Palo Alto Networks firewalls (both physical and virtual).

You will administer and support enterprise firewall systems, including tasks such as policy tuning and threat mitigation to ensure optimal protection for the network.

You will lead the deployment and configuration of PAN VM-Series firewalls using Flex licensing models.

In this role, you will manage IDS / IPS signature updates, URL filtering, VPN services, and DNS security.

You will also conduct firewall rule audits, generate compliance reports, and collaborate with other teams to identify and remediate any security gaps.

Documenting the architecture, deployment plans, and operational procedures will be essential to ensuring clear and consistent processes.

Additionally, you will provide operational support and troubleshooting for firewall-related issues, while staying updated on the evolving threat landscape to recommend proactive security measures to enhance the organization's security Qualifications :

• 510 years of experience in network security and firewall management, with a strong focus on Palo Alto Networks firewalls.
• Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Panorama.
• Experience working in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and familiarity with cloud security frameworks.
• Knowledge of DNS security, bot protection, and endpoint detection systems.
• Familiarity with Aviatrix Transit Network and cloud routing strategies is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills, documentation skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
• Relevant certifications such as PCNSA (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator) and PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer) are Join Us ?
