Team Leadership

Lead a team of Java developers, fostering collaboration, teamwork, and innovation.
Set clear objectives and provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

2. Project Management

Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to plan and execute healthcare software development projects.

Define project scope, objectives, and requirements, ensuring alignment with healthcare standards and best practices.

Monitor project progress and make adjustments to ensure timely and successful completion.

3. Technical Expertise

Apply your strong Java development skills and expertise to guide the team in best practices and design patterns.

Oversee the adherence to coding standards and maintain code quality.

Resolve complex technical challenges and provide guidance to the team.

4. US Healthcare Expertise

Utilize your deep knowledge of US healthcare regulations, standards, and industry trends.

Ensure that all software solutions are compliant with healthcare-related requirements.

Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and implement healthcare-specific features.

5. Quality Assurance

Implement and oversee quality assurance processes and strategies to maintain high software quality.

Conduct code reviews, testing, and ensure defect resolution.

6. Team Management

Manage team performance, including workload allocation and performance evaluations.

Identify training and development needs, providing coaching and support to team members.

7. Communication

Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including project sponsors, business users, and technical teams.

Provide regular status updates, progress reports, and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

12+ years in Java software development, with a focus on healthcare service delivery.

Proven leadership and team management experience.

Profound knowledge of US healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and industry standards.

Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Healthcare-related certifications (e.g., PAHM, FAHM or relevant certifications) are a plus.

Must have skills
