We are looking for an experienced and dynamic
Data Analyst Lead
to head our data analytics function. This role requires a blend of
hands-on analytics expertise
and
leadership skills
to guide a team of data analysts in delivering high-quality, actionable insights.
You will oversee the
entire analytics lifecycle
— from data extraction and modeling to reporting and business intelligence — while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. You will collaborate closely with the
Product Manager, Head of Data, and key business stakeholders
to define performance metrics, optimize decision-making, and foster a data-driven culture across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team
of data analysts, providing guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
Oversee the design, development, and optimization of
complex SQL queries
and data models for business insights.
Drive the creation and automation of
dashboards and analytical reports
using tools such as
Mixpanel, Tableau, Power BI, and Excel .
Partner with cross-functional teams to define, maintain, and evaluate
KPIs and business metrics
that drive strategic and product decisions.
Ensure
data accuracy, governance, and standardization
across multiple systems and sources.
Translate data findings into
strategic recommendations and presentations
for senior leadership.
Monitor user behavior, performance trends, and product metrics to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Establish
best practices and frameworks
for analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
Collaborate with technology teams on
data integration, ETL processes , and system enhancements.
Requirements
Minimum 9
years of professional experience
in data analytics, with at least
2 years in a leadership or team management role .
Strong proficiency in
SQL
(preferably MSSQL) with proven ability to handle large datasets and complex queries.
Expertise in
data visualization tools
such as Tableau, Power BI, and Excel (advanced formulas, dashboards, and automation).
Hands-on experience or deep understanding of
Mixpanel
or similar event-based analytics tools.
Demonstrated experience in defining and managing
KPIs, performance metrics, and reporting frameworks .
Exceptional
analytical, problem-solving, and communication
skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines in a
fast-paced, agile environment .
Nice to Have
Proficiency in
Python or R
for advanced data analysis and automation.
Experience with event-based or product analytics tools such as
Amplitude
or
Segment .
Background in
data modeling, ETL pipelines , or cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
Experience establishing
data quality and governance frameworks .
