Job Summary :

Amazon is seeking an accomplished and passionate Engineering Manager with 812 years of progressive industry experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a technical management role.

Based in Bangalore, this leader will be responsible for managing the development of highly scalable eCommerce applications and platforms.

The role requires a strong technical background in building high-performance systems using Java / NodeJS, coupled with proven expertise in building, mentoring, and retaining top-tier engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Strategy and Architecture :

• Provide technology thought leadership to drive innovation and technical excellence across engineering teams.
• Lead the development of highly scalable eCommerce applications and platforms, ensuring system robustness and performance.
• Apply deep technical knowledge of scalable server systems from a prior strong development background to guide architectural decisions.
• Drive technical solutions for building highly scalable systems primarily utilizing Java (or NodeJS) and leveraging open-source tools and platforms.
• Guide teams on effectively leveraging both RDBMS and NoSQL systems for data persistence and scalability.
